➫➬When the idea of culture and knowledge in Switzerland for exchange was born,we only prayed and believe and put in God's hands.we started with application for the visa and we were refused, the help of auntie Ruth and Pierre Petitjean helped so much even though all hope was lost but we never gave up hope, a recess was done and we followed up to the embassy direct and we were finally granted the visa at the last minute.
  I want to express my profound gratitude to Mr and Mrs Ruth Petitjean for their love and initiating our travels. we are so grateful that God made it possible through them for us to travel, also to all who prayed and also hoped that we will surely make it through.
  Secondly, to all who received us in love and warmth, especially auntie Margaret and Verena who welcomed us at the airport. God bless you so much and all the gifts you gave us. To the family and all friends of  auntie Ruth ,Raymond and wife Jasmin,auntie Theres and husband Werner, auntie Lotti and Jeann, Margrit and husband, Ruthly and husband, Regula and family, Ronnie and wife, Christy, Herechnar, Mattias and his office, Mr Haeusler and associates,Pastor Devely, Bishop Floyd, Minister Michael and Carmenda Crews, and all those who had warmth us in love and all I can't remember their names and the school kids..........we love you all..........

A brief introduction to Swiss history.

The Swiss Confederation was founded in 1291 as a defensive alliance among three cantons.  In succeeding years, other localities joined the original three.  The Swiss Confederation secured its independence from the Holy Roman Empire in 1499.  A constitution of 1848, subsequently modified in 1874, replaced the confederation with a centralised federal government.  Switzerland's sovereignty and neutrality have long been honoured by the major European powers and the country was not involved in either of the two world wars.

The political and economic integration of Europe over the past half century, as well as Switzerland's role in many UN and international organisations, has strengthened Switzerland's ties with its neighbours, however, the country did not officially become a UN member until 2002.  Switzerland remains active in many UN and international organisations but retains a strong commitment to neutrality.

Unlike most of its neighbours, Switzerland is not a member of NATO or the European Union (EU).  However, on 12 December 2008 it implemented the Schengen Agreement in which border controls with other Schengen members were eliminated while at the same those with non-Schengen countries were strengthened.  Switzerland has the Swiss Franc (CHF) as its currency.

Today after our return from Switzerland we are to report today at the Swiss embassy in Accra, Ghana as was instructed to do on our return. we went and we got our passport stamped to show we truly returned to prevent any visa processing problems in the future ........i came back home and helped my mum prepared fufu with goat meat light soup......hahahaha

➤ after the packing,we were set to the airport,Euroairport,to board our transit plane to Amsterdam.Auntie Ruth said her goodbye after we had finished our check in. we departed to Shipol,Amsterdam at 10:45am. In about an hour later we got to Shipol and waited for the next transit to Accra, our flight got delayed again and had to change flight and seat numbers again,departed at 15:55pm and got to Accra at 21:30pm, there we met Pierre Petitjean at Kotoka international airport before he also board his plane back home to his lovely wife.......we later waited for our baggages and got home safely by God's grace..........we report then to the embassy on the 18th of May,2017 to present ourselves to them of our return as was the instruction given us......

➣ today, waking up, David changed auntie Ruth's tyres and I did a little touch ups at the washroom then we had breakfast together and we all went to pearl shop to buy some electronics.......
after pearl shop we did the rest of our baggage packing and our mum prepared a Racklet for us and it was superb, that on our first taste of it we liked it and never wanted to stop eating it, but we got filled up......😀😀😀
we are leaving our mum with sadness and a lots of thoughts on her mind and heart.....we did the last car wash and gardening for her so sweet.......she couldn't stop her emotions of our departure but to burst out in tears....God is in control....she then prepared us apricot cake for the evening......we will be communicating in heart....

🔼 Today was our last Sunday in church and we attended it in Rainach, Michelle
church and its the Sunday as well where we still sang our songs from the workshop and it was great how people were enthusiast to worship God. We left for the stadium(st. Jacobs stadium) with it modernistic touch to watch a match between the famous football club(FC Basel) and FC thun.it was fantastic play with both sides ending with a tie, closing.....we met Regula(Diegten football club). and her family.

we got home to rest a little as we wait for Raymond and his Jasmine Petitjean,; they came a we had a drink as well and got to know Jasmine. what a blessed and wonderful family God made us encounter.....bless.

😎😎 today after breakfast at home, we did our final gardening at home we trimmed the flowers in-front of the house, with the beauty thereof we made trimming the garden attracted auntie Ruth's neighbour, Christy to make us do hers as well......we did as well for her......

⥤ Today after breakfast,we drove to liestal, and took train to Zurich, there we met with Ronnie and her wife Malice at Zurich's train station(hauptbahnhof).
Switzerland has many train stations but the largest amongst them is the one in Zurich with about 40000 people transported to and fro everyday. Zurich as the name "rich" is a place where money grows hahaha.....its a business and banking centre....we got to see the FIFA museum getting to know the beginning of fifa games and world famous football players and champions.
From there we went cruising on the boat to have a nice feel of the city, continued to Zurich's famous university ETH Zurich and returned home......
We got home, everyone tired and auntie Ruth prepared dinner for us, but we unintentionally fell asleep.....it was never polite towards her, I woke up feeling helpless and sad towards her.......mum we are very sorry, and we hope you will find a place in your heart to forgive us. it will never happen again,because you been thrfell asleep.....it was never polite towards her, I woke up feeling helpless and sad towards her.......😖😖 .....mum we are very sorry, and we hope you will find a place in your heart to forgive us. it will never happen again,because you been through a lot for us, we are indebted to you.....

➬ At home today, auntie Ruth set out to school,whiles boys at home prepared again once, Ghanaian fufu and chicken light soup. Auntie Ruth invited auntie Theres and her husband Werner and Raymond Petitjean her lovely son. Food was done at 12:00pm exactly as auntie Theres and uncle Werner came// it was ready to eat....delicious neat fufu with chicken light soup, it was auntie Theres and Werner's first time to taste...it was served and after eating they commended the meal I'm glad they liked it....Raymond our lovely bro came at 6:00pm to take his home while we get ready to go the gospel workshop, at home after eating Raymond said " the food was good, he added more chilies as well....." as it was his first as well.....hahaha!

⇋ we visited our big brother Raymond in his apartment after breakfast this morning....he welcomed us and we had a dring and chat, he never leave us with empty hands, he gave us some gifts for home,so gentle and kind of him.........
  we then left for Germany to have a little nice tour, had lunch and took a walk through to the wooden bridge between switzerland and germany, then to the cathedral....with the artistry ....so beautifully made....
⇁  we came home and did some pack-off and drove together with auntie Ruth to the gospel workshop, the second day and everything was successful,meeting with others and making acquaintances and together the workshop was superb, with singing from the heart 👪 unto God.....

➣ Risen up with fresh morning dew by God's grace, we did some cleaning at home once again,window clean, washroom and floors together with auntie Ruth, the cleaner, Vera Ranert,the chimney cleaner(Kaminfeger), David and myself........then we did lawn cleaning as well to make everywhere shine so bright .....

➴ we then had launch and went to Nuglar, the quarry site of Fritz Surer.,a noble and wealthy man,with humility and friendship towards us. He took us round to  tour one of his company site....we had good time with him......and after the tour he surprises us ........😊😊😊wow....we will be going back to Ghana missing our family here.........

after dinner, auntie Ruth drove us to the gospel workshop at ,Mischeli, Reinach, headed by a gospel crew from America.....even though it was hard for other Swiss accents, gospel music is for the soul and a communication to God, so everyone could understand and sing along.....it was lovely and lively, the likes of Michael, Floyd and Carmenda makes the workshop a fun to be...,the energy, the involvement.....meet us for the next workshop tomorrow, Wednesday 19:30pm - 21:30pm at Mischeli for the next session.....its will be a boom 💞💞💞 ....! lets go singing huulalala....

➣ Today for the water treatment plant in Birsfelden we visited is named Ara Birs, it was built of old in two(2) places, one in 1964 and the other in 1977, and was been re-modernized in 2007. the name Ara Birs, the company, was named after a river called Aare; it's a river that passes through the cantons- Bern,Solothun & Aargau and the river mouth is the Rhein .
 ⤑ The processing plant recycles water from rain water,waste water from habitants and roadside water as well.....during the raining season, about 4000m3 of water is collected everyday for processing.;they have in Basel twenty two(22) smaller recycling plants and five(5) larger ones with about 3000 inhabitants.....the water collected goes through four(4) stages:


⤏ the first stage is the collection of the water, where the water is collected and taken up by mechanical cleaning, there heavy particles such as wood crushed for water passage alone...

⇛ 
Yodeling, an act of singing while changing between the natural voice and a very high voice, and is traditionally done in the mountain countries such as Switzerland and Austria........today we happen to witness one in the city of Basel and they performed beautifully.....👦👧👨👩👏💖........they were stunning, both male and female, old and young........and the group with the musical instrument did well giving the audience a close up show...........wow!

• work at home and dinner with auntie Verena and Margaret 

↬  Today after we woke from a tired day yesterday, we had our breakfast around 11am and after we gathered some woods and dried branches in the chimney for heating and as well to reduce the scattered branches in the garden....

⇻ Big brother Raymond visited as at home and we had some coffee together and chat once again, the joy it brings when he's around....
➢  To excite our boredom at home after big bros visit, we were invited to dinner by auntie Margaret and Verena, they once again filled us with happiness, we tasted for the first time a German dish prepared by auntie Margaret........wow!
After the meal..we continued some fun where auntie Verena teaches us how to mold a paper bird we saw in her apartment......she commended as fast learned students....hahahaha.... then she surprised us with special gifts; a watch and Swiss jack knife and also a bag with glasses, chocolate and an envelope....oh these folks are lovely.......
we also helped her solve a problem with her phone and computer.....she was glad we made everything worked for her..........we said our goodbyes and we may see each other again before we leave for Ghana......oh and thanks to auntie Margaret for the delicious meal....💏💏

 ⇴➤ Being around families, not only your true families but people around you gives such a great joy, and here isn't an exception.
With auntie Ruth, we met with auntie Verena and her friend Adelheid, these lovely folks were happy to be around these young gentlemen 😝........
We took three(3) city trains from Leistal > Bern, then picked auntie Adelheid, then continued to Visp > Zermatt......
⟿ In zermatt we were bought tickets all thanks to auntie Verena as well with the train ticket, in Zermatt only electric cars could be used, to prevent cars from clogging the town due to lots of tourists, and also a helicopter transported items for construction ...........engineering!

➽ After breakfast today, we visited the kids of the school where auntie Ruth teaches religion and it was warm as the kids received us, they were lovely and nice and wanted to find out more about ourselves and the country we come from......how we treat our kids especially in Ghana.....they wanted more.......we sang songs together and loved to be around and was so good to see the kids as auntie Ruth taught them in the religious way to live and i saw that in them......God help these kids for a brighter future.

➣ We visited the parliament and government house in the city,Bern together with auntie Lotti, auntie Ruth's friend, and Jeane auntie lotti's niece.
➵ we then passed through the street to the cathedral with a very tall tower as was in Basel and we climbed to the highest top of it to see the skull of the whole city of bern.wow! we each, Jeane, David and I said a prayer and i almost cried getting emotional in prayer.........we came to the street to a house where Albert Einstein stayed and did some of his researched and a tower with this big clock.......😑

↺ Today the guys were in Basel city, the region of the town we stay in, Arisdorf........we got to see the old town of Basel which has been refurbished and modernized till now after the Romans empire.....
⇁ our day wasn't bored as we had fun with feeding the pigeons in our palms at the fountain......how lovely! 
⇥ We visited various museums, one of them being the Museum fur Gerchichte,which exhibited the old laboratory equipment for research purposes that the chemical industry used, the Elizabeth's Cathedral and an old Cathedral built about 1000years AD, which has been preserved for ages till now and still look strong.
